Crystal Araiza and Avery Gonzales

On Tuesday, January 3rd, tragedy struck a family that was only just beginning. Jake Gonzales had unexpectedly passed, leaving behind his beautiful one-year-old daughter, Avery, and his partner, Crystal Araiza. Nothing could have prepared Crystal to lose her best friend, partner, and father of her child. She is being so strong during this time and is so thankful for the love and support she has received.

Jake's first priority was always his family. He gave his family a life filled with happiness, love, and security. Jake was the most supportive partner and was always there with love and a helping hand whenever Crystal needed it. Crystal is a hardworking mom, a full-time student, and works a full-time job at a non-profit plus an internship. This loss has shattered her stability at a time when her plate is already too full. Crystal is close to graduating with her master's degree and plans to begin her career as a family therapist. My sister, being so strong and kind, would never dream of asking for anything, but I have decided to create this GoFundMe page to help with any potential financial stressors that may come and hope to give her one less thing to worry about.
