With the heaviest of hearts, we share the loss of our beloved Crystal. She was a Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Best Friend to many of us. On November 1, 2022, Crystal left this earth just weeks before her 44th birthday. She fought a short but aggressive battle with metastatic melanoma. She was diagnosed in early October and gave it the fight of her life. She was never fearful or angry. She was more worried about how this affected her loved ones than herself, a true sign of a warrior.
Knowing Crystal, you knew she was kind-hearted. She lived a life full of love, peace and happiness. She loved animals, music, family and friends. She cherished spending time with those she loved. She put herself last and everyone else first. She was the most amazing selfless human. She welcomed everyone with open arms and lived every day with positivity. She taught us that friendships matter and that you should fight for those relationships. Crystal's energy, memory and spirit will forever be engraved in our souls.
She was the light in our lives. I described her to someone recently and said, “if glitter were a person, it would be her.” She sparkled, she laughed, and she was genuinely happy. What a gift she was to many of us.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will be used for medical expenses and her celebration of life. We are grateful for the love and support during this unbelievably tough time. Celebration of life details will follow.
