I am just a friend and maybe just like you, one of the lucky ones who has flown with this lovely lady, Crystal Dawn Richardson. I feel privileged to have flown with someone who has lived a lifetime enjoying a
career in flight. Today I come to you asking for help; Crystal needs our help.
Crystal suffers with Lupus and is going through an unfair amount of medical challenges and procedures. Also a registered nurse, Crystal has suffered the side effects and ongoing medical needs of her illness since she was young. I recently learned that 8 years ago, she was on a ventilator and in a coma for a year and a half. The fact that she is here today is indeed a miracle.
I’ve chosen to raise funds for Crystal in order to help her with rising medical costs and assistance while the flight industry is in such uncertain times due to COVID-19. Not only will this help her manage some of her bills, she could possibly afford to take leave during her ongoing medical battle while under the shadow of COVID-19. As you read this, Crystal is sitting for yet another MRI for her next steps in dealing with a Brain Tumor. Being immunocompromised, Crystal is at high-risk for Covid and it’s deadly side affects. However she is also a single woman paying her own way and cannot afford to take leave at this time.
Crystal would never ask you for this, therefore I’m asking you. As a member of our flight family and anyone out there who finds the effects of Covid to be devastating for so many of us, please consider making a donation.
