Crystal's Blessing

My name is Evelyn Richardson and I am one of the board members, of the Labor Day Bike Fest, held since 2015.  We are a group of independent as well as motorcycle club members who created this event in order to give riders another chance to enjoy North Myrtle Beach.  Our goal is to do two things: one, to have one last large gathering before the bike season ends and two, to give back to someone who is less fortunate. 

Crystal Barnum, a single mother who is also a biker, who has been ill since 2015, has had a total of 6 surgeries and has been hospitalized over 50 times and has had no income over the past 18 months.  Due to not having an income, she's lost everything including her house and her car, plus her 15 year old daughter has had to rely on her grandmother for support as her mother cannot take care of her the way she would like because of her illness.  As of right now, Crystal is recovering from her most recent surgery and was transferred out of ICU to a regular room June 7th to hopefully begin the painful process of recovery.

Our event is not happening until Labor Day, but Crystal needs funds NOW as expenses do not have an expiration date.  Crystal has a child that depends on her and she needs to be taken care of.  I am asking for everyone to donate what you can as no amount is too big or too small.  Everything donated is going to Crystal directly so she will receive the funds.  With everything that has happened to Crystal over the past three years, we would like to start her season of blessings right away

There will be other events posted to raise money in Maryland, where Crystal lives.  We are in partnership with bikers in that state and once everything is finalized, will be posted on this page as well.
