Crystal’s Journey against Breast Cancer

Dearest Family and Friends,

On behalf of my mom I’m reaching out with difficult news. On March 28, 2023 my beautiful mom, Crystal Fielder was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

Many people who know my mom knows she’s a strong, independent single mom of 4, myself and my 3 brothers, Donte, and the twins, Elijah & Elliot. She is also a teacher of over 20 years who has dedicated her life to helping and supporting others. As you can imagine, receiving this news during the last few months of school and during my twin brothers senior year of high school, was devastating.

The past 2 months have been a bit difficult for my mom with going to multiple appointments, starting chemotherapy, and trying to continue daily life activities. Regrettably, she has not been able to work the last 17 days of school because of the many side effects of chemo. Unfortunately because my mom chose the best profession ever, she does not qualify for CA disability insurance, and this has caused a great financial strain for my mom.

My hope is that Crystal’s community, family, friends, church family, basketball family, and colleagues can come together and help during this difficult time. All donations will help with her medical bills, house expenses, meals, and any other unforeseen expenses. If you are able, any donation is appreciated and will help.
