This year Shaw’s Charity Event will restore Mott Children’s Hospital Game Day room!
Shaw has a nice history with C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, as Shaw worked on the Children's & Women's Replacement Hospital from 2008-2011. We are excited and honored to continue our relationship with Mott and help restore a room that’s a fun break for patients with: sibling nights, athlete visits, everyday play, and more.
We decided to team with Mott with the understanding of how difficult it is to have a child in the hospital, especially during the holiday season. We want to restore this space to make the patients’ and their families stay a little more enjoyable and put smiles on faces. Without the features that we plan on replacing, the room is not as unique as it deserves to be for those that are using it.
Currently, the room has four interactive monitors that no longer work after 8 years of use. We plan to replace and upgrade these devices to make them function as they did before and more! And so, during this holiday season, Shaw is asking that each of you please give some consideration to donating to this rewarding project.
For every $5 dollars you donate, you will receive 1 ticket. During our holiday party on Friday, December 20th, we will once again have wonderful gifts that will be raffled off for the participants that were kind enough to participate. The person that donates the most will be given the opportunity to draw the first prize off the tree. Please note that you must be present to win. Tickets will also be available for purchase by cash or check at the holiday party.
