UPMC IM Residency Support for Ukraine

Tax deductible
Dear Friends,

This humanitarian crisis persists in Ukraine due to an unprovoked war. More than 2 million Ukrainian citizens have fled the country as refugees of war, but the remaining 40 million are holding their ground defending their motherland. As you can imagine, there are many people in need of medical attention: some due to injuries sustained in combat in addition to many more that are just regular patients. They are pressed for resources and are in dire need of unified global help.

The UPMC Harrisburg Internal Medicine Residency is asking for your help and support for the Ukrainian hospitals and people. We have partnered with the non-profit organization “Razom” meaning “together” in Ukrainian. Razom believes deeply in the enormous potential of dedicated volunteers around the world united by a single goal: to unlock the potential of Ukraine. Razom's current emergency response is focused on purchasing medical supplies and other tactical medicine items. A large procurement team of volunteers tracks down and purchases these supplies and a logistics team then gets them to Ukraine. Additional information on Razom and their emergency response can be found on their website, RazomForUkraine.org. All funds raised are directly transferred to Razom to aid in their emergency medical response.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts, prayers, and contributions.
