Help Jenny with Medical and Living Expenses

Donation protected

In October of 2019, following a trans-vaginal ultrasound when I had kidney stones I was told I had an abnormal mass near my ovary. Initially the doctors told me they thought it was a cyst, but to follow up with my OB-GYN. After a follow up ultrasound and CT scan I was diagnosed with Stage 1C high- grade serous carcinoma (epithelial ovarian cancer.) On November 25, 2019 I went in for a full hysterectomy, appendectomy, and debulking is my mass. After that surgery it was found out I also have Stage 2 Cervical cancer I have been struggling with ascites (cancerous fluid) in my abdomen and also had a fistula form where one of my incisions were. After a surgery on 1/15/2020 and 2/8/2020 to help repair the wound I was also placed with a wound vac. Due to the wound vac placement I will be unable to get my radiation treatments for 3-4 weeks. However, I remain grateful that I will be able to still get my chemo infusion of Doxil and will also be able to take a chemo pill every Friday.

I am grateful that my job has allowed me to go on Long-term medical leave so I have been able to use my insurance and get 35% of my salary. With that being said, I still owe money on all of my surgeries, have student loans, prescription medication costs, co-pays, etc. I am grateful that I am living with my parents so I do not have to pay rent, but all of these expenses are becoming hard to handle. On top of that my chemo pill is $168.00 after a coupon from the manufacturer and insurance for just 4 pills.

I’ve put my trust in God and I know that he will get me through everything and use this part of my life as a testimony for his goodness. Asking for help is extremely hard, but the stress of everything is getting to me. Please keep the prayers coming, becausethey are working and my God is a miracle working God. If you are able to financial help, please pray about it before you do it, but know I am grateful. I will not be able to get back to work now until the middle of May (as long as I do not have anymore setbacks).

1 Thessalonians 5:11-14

11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

God Bless.
