Urgent appeal: Tanzania pre-school needs your help

Article 25 is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Article 25.

THE NEW TANZANIAN SCHOOL IS ALMOST READY….

Article 25 is a London based humanitarian architecture charity. In partnership with Child Support Tanzania (CST), we have built a new primary school in Mbeya, Tanzania.

Many children with disabilities in Tanzania don’t receive an education due to poorly designed schools. Furthermore, the existing school suffers from overcrowded classrooms, no kitchen to provide proper nutrition or safe areas to play. With your help, we can change this!

The first part of the school has been built, however funding is still needed for vital facilities. We need to raise £15,000 for a water tower, septic tank and soak away. With these funds we will be able to open the first section of the school to 75 children who are currently in desperate need of a school that caters to their needs. If we are unable to do this the school will remain empty, resulting in many children not receiving a proper education, and teachers not being able to sustain their livelihoods.

We need to raise these funds by the end of October. The impact of your donation will help provide children with disabilities access to school that is fit for purpose.
