CSUN Formula SAE Race Car
Donation protected
We are the CSUN chapter of Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). Every year, a team of students designs, manufactures, assembles, and races a formula style car as a senior project. We are judged on the cars performance in a variety of fields including acceleration, autocross, and efficiency. This event takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska, where we compete against 80 teams from universities across the nation.
As you can imagine, the financial needs of such an undertaking, from manufacturing and entrance fees, to showing up on drive day with a fully prepared vehicle, is much more than we can bare on our own. In order to facilitate this project and our participation in the competition, we rely primarily on the financial support of our donors.
This is where we ask for you to help us build a worthy vehicle and send us to competition!
