Extend your HEART to Lorine and John

It’s been a tough time for Lorine and John, and they need your help to make it through.
John and Lorine are the classic love story of two people finding each other later in life, after wading through trials, tribulations, and heartache. A real-life, “dreams really do come true”. They had just celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary November 10th, 2022, when tragedy struck.
John is the kind of person that will give you the shirt off his back as his many friends will attest to, providing technical and transportation services to countless grateful people. Now John and Lorine need YOUR help!
Just before Thanksgiving, John’s suffered a critical blockage of his left main coronary artery, requiring an immediate double bypass surgery. John then suffered two strokes and a case of necrotizing fasciitis from improper hospital care.
To be by his side for 33 straight days, Lorine used up all her vacation time and more. Finally returning to work, she is resigned to nightly phone calls and long weekend visits, traveling the 200 miles, only to return home, without John, on Sunday nights.
Facing a mountain of medical bills, disability, reconstructive surgeries, and many more months of rehab and missed work, we wanted to set this GoFundMe up for John and Lorine.
Anything you can give to ease the burden of all their expenses, so that John can focus on battling this illness and getting better is a step towards getting John back on his feet and helping his community again.
This money will be used to cover John’s growing medical bills as well as his regular life expenses (mortgage, bills etc.) since he is unable to work for the foreseeable future.
His devoted wife Lorine has been at Longview Fibre for 25+ years, where she is well known for a good work ethic, her excellent baked goods, her helpful attitude, and her ever-present sense of humor.
Can you lend a helping hand to John and Lorine?
