Needing a miracle

Tony Owens was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer at the age of 49 in October, 2018. The cancer was first discovered in May, 2018. The surgeon felt confident he had removed all of it, however when Tony went back for the colostomy reversal in October, they discovered the cancer had spread to his intestinal wall and pelvis. He has undergone 3 major surgeries, and fought off two major infections. Currently, he has completed the second round of chemotherapy, which is making it very difficult for him to work. The side effects are grueling, and although he tries to do some work, he is unable to handle it for long. There is no cure for this stage of cancer, and the doctors are not able to speculate a time frame on his treatment. We are trying to remain positive and will do whatever the doctors tell us to do. The funds we raise will help with the enormous amount of bills we are now beginning to receive. We maxed out the out of pocket expense on our insurance within a month, but of course owe several thousands in deductibles and co-insurance. Now that the first of the year is upon us, all of that starts over. The financial strain is tremendous, especially without a stable income from him. We are praying for disability approval, but have no idea how long the process may take. I never imagined any of this would happen to my husband, but it has, and we will fight and pray every day for a miracle to help him. Thank you
