Medical Care For Aiden

Donation protected
Hi everyone!

I am Aiden’s mom, most people in our community know Aiden by being the loving, fun, and kind boy who loves to hangout with his grandparents and everyone at our Local VFW, Aiden has been sick for the last four months with an unknown condition that is affecting with his kidneys and causing Constant G.I issued that has caused us to make multiple ER visits, we have had to visit with specialist ranging from Urology, Nephrology, G.I and a feeding clinic, we have gone to these appointments Muti times a week and at the moment we are having issues with his insurance and many things are coming out of pocket and with these visits it has been hard for me to work my job as much as I usually can so it’s already cutting into our finances and now we are paying for medication out of pocket as well and we just need a little help to get us to our end our helping us to help Aiden get better.

we are currently waiting to get approved through insurance to have a scope done since every test is coming back negative for an kind of infections, our latest ER visit couldn’t break a temp of 105 and we are home still fighting this sickness and waiting for things to move through insurance that keep coming back denied.

i understand that everyone is struggling but if you can find a way to even help with a few dollars that is a few more dollars closer to helping us with medication that I couldn’t afford to get, gas to these appointments, multiple over night stays in the hospital, every other day he also has to get labs drawn to watch his kidney function and white count as you can imagine everything adds up.

thank you for taking the time to read this, thank you for the time it takes to send us a “get well” ❤️

After 4 long months of hospital visits, nephrology, urology, G.I, and primary care appointments, regular MRI’s, Ultrasounds, and finally an upper endoscopy scope we have found out that Aiden has a cyst in his brain, he will be closely monitored by a neurologist and possibly needing a neurological surgery to remove the cyst. He’s had new symptoms start that caused him to have double vision and extremely painful headaches, and dizziness and that’s when the cyst was found, the nephrologist does not believe it’s what is causing him to lose weight, the stomach pain, and back pain the doctors are thinking those symptoms are resulting because of kidney problems and we are still waiting for results for testing to come back for that, right now, he has to get another SEDATED brain MRI done to see how big the cyst has gotten and what plan they take to remove it, we got approved for an emergent insurance but I do have to pay HALF and we quoted over 3,600 for this sedated MRI, everything we asked for help with previously was to help pay copays to see these specialists, pay for medications he was prescribed to help with pain, to help get blood testing done, ER visits when we were admitted for multiple nights, and an extensive 24 hour Urine collection test to see what is causing his low kidney function, we appreciate more than anyone will know the help you’ve given our family to help get one diagnosis and such a scary one and I am for help to cover help us cover what we CANNOT afford without going without food and paying our bills and that is half of what we’re quoted for the MRI that we have to cover to get this finally done, our insurance starts late January. I will do my best to update as much as possible, this scary for us and I’ve been hugging him more and holding my phone less so please bare with me ❤️ thank you everyone for helping in any way possible ❤️❤️❤️❤️
