if you prefer you can watch and listen here https://youtu.be/BXAXJ0akXLw Hello, Thank you for visiting my page! For those who don't know me, my name is Lori Belanger, I'm 36 and a mother to my pride and joy Kennedy. Brennan is my partner. I am also a Licensed clinical social worker and lover of life! I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive breast cancer in November 2019. This diagnosis was an extreme shock to me as I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and was the last person I would have expected to have cancer. But that is now my reality. After much consideration and research I have decided to do what makes the most sense for me. I am choosing a holistic approach to treat my cancer. This was not an easy choice to make, due to the extreme fear of losing my young life too early. However, after watching my mother die 1 year ago after only one chemo treatment, and the hours of research, a natural approach is what I feel is going to give me the best quality of life long term. As soon as I got my diagnosis, I immediately changed everything. No sugar, plant based diet, juicing, cancer fighting supplements, and my research began. I started doing natural therapies as soon as I could. The unfortunate thing about treating cancer naturally is that treatments and supplements are not covered by insurance. However, This doesn't mean that the treatment doesn't work! When first diagnosed I had 2 spots in my breast, and extremely swollen lymph nodes in my arm pit and a hundred nodules in my lungs, causing the doctors to think I was metastatic. (Stage 4 breast cancer) However a lung biopsy 2 months later proved no cancer in my lungs. Fast forward to February 2020. My pet scan revealed I no longer have any lung nodules, my lymph nodes are drastically smaller and my only breast tumor went from 1.6cm to 1.1cm! This is a reduction of 1/3 of the size! This fundraiser allowed me to get treatment at an integrative clinic in Atlanta and the first tumor disappeared!!  I then returned to work in October. However my second tumor grew rapidly after that because I could not afford high cost treatments.  I was finally allowed to have surgery. I had a single mastectomy 3/12/21 and had many positive lymph nodes removed as well as a very large tumor. I am now recovering and waiting to see what treatments are next.

Cancer is not a death sentence, but a wake-up call! Thank you for taking the time to read my story! You have My deepest gratitude for your support.
