Help Nate Walk Again
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stacy, and I have started a GoFundme page for Nathan Allen. Unfortunately, Nate was playing in an All-Star Semi-Pro football game in Vegas and was thrown on the crown of his head. The impact of this injury fractured his C6 in his vertebrae with a dislocation and a dissection of a vertebral artery. After 4 hours of emergency surgery, the team at UMC was able to put his spinal cord back together. It saddens me to inform everyone that he is now paraplegic. Nate has full motion in his shoulders and arms only. He is paralyzed from the waist down with no movement in his fingers.
Nate has been playing football all of his life. Here is a message from his coach and teammates. "While many of us know Nate as a football player, you can often find him lighting up a room with his presence and humor. He’s got a way of bringing people together and raising the standard for everyone around him."
Our goal is to send Nate to the #1 physical therapy hospital for spinal injuries in the US. Unfortunately, with his insurance, we are not able to cover all the expenses. Nate is determined to walk again, and with everyone’s help, donations and prayers, we will be able to send him to this Hospital to make sure this comes true. His family and I are truly grateful for any donation that is given. God hears all of the prayers, and day by day, Nate will continue to get stronger. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
