Al-Amyn Model School Educational Support Fund

The Al-Amyn Model School located in Gulmit, Gojal sub-division, District Hunza, is a regional center of excellence established by the local community. The locals contributed millions of rupees 25 years ago to help establish the impressive school building in a remote corner of Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region. Over the years, the school, which operates on a no-profit, no-loss basis, has educated thousands of students from across the region. 

Due to the CoVID-19 pandemic, the school has been closed for several months, which has affected the school's ability to generate funds for salaries and utilities.

Being a not-for-profit, community, school, Al-Amyn's income depends on the local communities' ability to pay fees, which is also badly affected by the CoVID-19 pandemic.
