Help for Victor!

Please help our dear friend and colleague, Victor Velazquez. Victor has been our custodian here at Antelope Creek Elementary for the past 12 years, and has worked at other schools within the Rocklin Unified School District for just as long. He is deeply loved by staff, parents, and children for his tremendous heart, his remarkable sense of humor, and his extreme dedication in making our school shine! Over the years, Victor has worked tirelessly to clean our school each night, and always seems to go above and beyond in making sure that teachers and staff are happy and well-cared for. Additionally, Victor is an excellent cook and has always volunteered his services and delicious food for school fundraising events, graduation events, etc. Children at our school describe Victor as “friendly,” “always happy,” “kind,” “humble,” and “fun.” They also say that he “doesn’t just clean our school; he’s a friend to everyone and is always there when you need him.” Today, the tables have turned, and Victor needs US. This past year has been extremely difficult for him due to his declining health. In 2015, Victor had to endure a partial amputation of his foot due to Diabetes complications, and in the last week, we learned the horrendous news that Victor had suffered a debilitating stroke. Victor supports his wife and granddaughter. Due to the stroke, he will not be able to work for quite some time and will have to endure months of physical therapy. We need your help! Victor has always been there for us, and now WE need to help him! Any amount you can donate will be used to help Victor and his family get through the next several months. There is a tremendous need. All donations will be used for groceries, gas, medical bills, etc. Rocklin has always been a tight-knit community and like a family in many ways. Let’s take care of our own, and show Victor how much he is loved! On behalf of Victor, his family, and the staff at Antelope Creek, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
