Jamie’s Road To Recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
On Saturday 21st October, our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Jamie, was involved in a life-altering freak accident. She is facing the biggest battle of her life, with a very long road to recovery.
Jamie was kicked in the face by a horse leaving her with significant facial trauma and loss of sight through her right eye. Jamie has undergone two marathon surgeries in the last few days and has many more to come on her journey of reconstruction and recovery. Currently in an induced coma at the Alfred, Jamie will need all our support to come through this.
Most of you would know Jamie for her love of riding, her dog Rosie, her cats (literally all animals!) and of course her happy, smiley self. Not only does Jamie have the best sense of humour but she’s incredibly intelligent. Currently undertaking her PhD, Jamie will need to put that on hold while she recovers. She is a strong and determined young woman who we know - with the support of all of those around her - will be able fight this battle.
We wanted to start a GoFundMe campaign to provide some much-needed support for Jamie and her family. Your contributions will go towards the mounting costs they will be facing during her long road to recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, will truly make an immense difference in Jamie’s journey ahead.
Thank you all for your support, donations and love. We would love it if you left a message for Jamie to read when she wake’s up. Please also follow the link to the Facebook page where there will be regular updates on how Jamie is travelling.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
