After trying to conceive for over a year, I was finally pregnant with our first child. Unfortunately, during our first ultrasound it was discovered the pregnancy wasn't viable.
In February of 2017, I was pregnant again. It was a terrifying time for both my husband and I. Then at 12 weeks, we got to see and hear the heartbeat for the first time. Throughout the duration of the pregnancy, all was well.
Our last ultrasound was October 31, 2017 and everything was fine. An induction was set for November 6, 2017.
On the evening of Sunday, November 5th, as we were getting ready for bed, my husband and I both felt our little girl kick, little did we know it would be the last time.
We arrived at St. Patrick's Hospital at 7:30am on the morning of our induction, so excited to finally meet our baby girl. After an hour of trying to find our daughters heartbeat, they brought in an ultrasound machine. It was then, we were given the devastating news that our precious little girl no longer had a heartbeat.
At 8:45pm on November 6, 2017, our precious 7lb 4oz 20 inch long baby girl silently entered the world.

When a child dies in the womb, the body starts to deteriorate almost immediately. Because of this, parents aren't able to spend as much time with their baby as they need, without the child having to be taken away and chilled multiple times. It is very traumatic to have your child taken away several times, especially during the only time you will ever get with them.
The time after the baby is born is the only time parents and loved ones get to hold their precious little one. This time is an important step in the grieving process.
After having gone through this and doing a lot of research, I discovered the CuddleCot, a product that keeps the baby chilled while parents and loved ones hold and love on the little one for as long as they want without the baby having to be taken away and chilled.
The CuddleCot™ cooling pad is placed in any Moses basket, crib, bed or other receptacle. It is connected by a specially insulated hose and is quietly cooled using the CuddleCot™ cooling unit. The CuddleCot™ system comes in its own carry case with two sizes of cooling pad for premature and full term babies. The CuddleCot™ cools to an ideal temperature for preserving baby without being too cold for the parents.

St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, Montana does not have one. I would like to raise enough money to have one donated in my beautiful daughter Huntley's name, so I can give the precious gift of time to other families suffering this tragic loss.
If you are unable to donate, please give this a share to help give other families the gift of time.
Thank you!!!
