Cuddle Cot in Memory of Sloane

Hello, my name is Ashley.

On March 18, 2022, I suffered a complete placenta abruption while at home; I was 30 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our third daughter Sloane Isabella. By the time I got to the hospital via ambulance, Sloane had already passed away, and I was rushed into an emergency C-Section.

The hospital where Sloane was born only had one working Cuddle Cot available, and it was in use already. So this meant that Sloane would only be allowed to spend minimal time in the room with me before being brought back down to the morgue.

Cuddle Cots are excellent for families after suffering a devasting loss. They are a bassinet with a cooling system that allows the families to keep their babies in the room with them for the families to have extended time while saying goodbye. The Cuddle Cots help families through the worst days of their lives.

We are raising money as a family to be able to purchase a Cuddle Cot for the hospital where Sloane was born, as well as additional supplies that will ensure there are more than just one available to families in need. Based on the amount raised, we could also donate more than one in her honor. Please share our story, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Our goal is to be able to make this purchase before Sloane's first birth in the sky on March 18, 2023.
