Shiloh Baptist Church, Newark NJ

Shiloh Baptist Church has been an important part of the north ward community of Newark, NJ for the better part of 100+ years. Once again extreme weather has taken a toll on our main sanctuary building and on February 2nd the snow left by winter storm Orlena was too much for the roof to contain.  As you can see in the pictures the entire roof collapsed in causing massive damage to exterior walls!

Due to amount of damage the remnants of the building will have to be demolished for the safety of the surrounding homes and we will begin the process of rebuilding.  The process of which will be monumental but we have faith that GOD has not left Shiloh.  Solomon's temple to the Lord was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and his army but he couldn't destroy the faith of God's people!

We are asking for your help in our recovery process.  As you can imagine there will be countless short and long term expenses associated with this monumental task but with God’s anointing and your help we can get it done!
