CUFC Players Injury & Rehabilitation Fund
Donation protected
At Chesham United Football Club we aim to look after our players. All players are insured when they cross the white line wearing the club shirt, but sometimes injuries occur that have a wider impact on their livelihood or mental wellbeing and if there is anything we can do to to speed up their recovery or help their home life, then we will always aim to do that. Even if it falls outside of what we budget for as a club. It is important that players know they get looked after when they sign for Chesham United.
A recent example is Zack Joseph who has made over 100 appearances for the club since joining in September 2019. He looked to be out injured for a long period at the start of this 2024/25 season, but with the support of this fund we were able to arrange for him to have a private scan, a speedier diagnosis and he will be back on the pitch much sooner than had we not had this fund available to contribute towards the scan.
The funds raised so far do not come close to covering what has been spent on additional player rehabilitation since the launch of this page, but that will not change our attitude towards player protection. If you are able to help, and share our view on looking after players, it will be much appreciated - every donation helps. One Club.
