Cultivating Youth Bridges Initiative by ROYAL

Our Cultivating Youth Bridges initiative bring together newly arrived immigrant youth with Chicagoland youth to build bridges and strengthen our relationships through dialogue, projects, and mutual aid efforts. There are several projects youth are working on, including:

1) Sharing our stories and building bridges between our communities

2) Educative Curriculum on the history of both Black and Latinx communities in Chicago and Latin America

3) Providing basic language curriculum to new youth arrivals

4) Sharing a meal together in all of our meetings

5) Provide immediate needs to asylum seeker families

6) Fundamentals of Organizing Curriculum

We are asking for community help to reach our goal of $15,000 keep this initiative going and provide participants with transportation, meals, and small stipends.
