Culture Kicks 4 Social Justice

Culture Kicks is a small black-owned business running predominantly on Instagram @culture__kicks by two brothers, Chase and Jordan Young. Chase is a sneakerhead who recently graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018, while Jordan is a D1 athlete at Jacksonville University majoring in Film with a passion for Cinematography.  We are creating a gofundme account to obtain the resources necessary to grow the business into our future vision of being a brick and mortar store in Philadelphia, PA. Being Black-owned we are well aware of the social injustice that has been going on in America for generations upon generations. We would like to contribute a portion of the proceeds to The Philadelphia Black Giving Circle. Their mission is to cultivate charitable giving within the Black community, build capacity and financial sustainability of Black-led non-profits, and address the most pressing needs facing the Black community in the Greater Philadelphia region.

In return for the funds being donated, one lucky person will be selected to win the limited Nike SB x Ben&Jerry Chunky Dunky collaboration. Ben&Jerry have been known for their amazing ice cream as well as being proud allies of the Black community. Donating to this fund means that you are supporting a small black-owned business, racial equality, and having the opportunity to be selected to win this $2,000+ limited sneaker. Owning a business has been a vision of ours since day 1 and we are thankful that gofundme has given us this platform to make that dream become a reality.
