During our most recent torrential rains here in Encinitas, a new, quickly thriving and well-loved local business, Cuppa Juice, experienced a total loss due to a massive flood.
The community has come together to help the owners and their employees attempt to continue to serve their beloved hometown with take out services, which until recently, they had been successful at, even during these unprecedented times of shelter in place. Their commitment to the community of Encinitas is unwavering and greatly appreciated.
We are currently raising funds to help Cuppa Juice purchase a used food truck in the coming weeks and to keep their employees working while they and many in the community help them start the difficult task of a massive clean up and making plans to rebuild.
Since they opened their doors, the community welcomed them with open arms. Their staff always greeted each and every patron with a level of service that is hard to find anywhere. Their juices, coffees, smoothies and other foods are delicious, healthy and always served with a smile.
Their beautiful location was a place where families could come to play and enjoy the surroundings alongside of people who came to conduct business in a quiet and welcoming environment. We need to do whatever we can to help this small local business operational and a vital member of our community.
