Many of you have felt the love, compassion, and genuine support of our friend and colleague, Cindy Hogan. To know the very talented Cindy is to love her. As you all know, Cindy ("THE ACTING COACH") goes out of her way daily to help others, even when it means putting her own career second. She is honest, astute, and truly desires to see her students and friends succeed.
Because Cindy is humble and sometimes private, ( AND FOUGHT ME ON DOING THIS) you may not know that she has been fighting several autoimmune diseases including lupus and a thyroid disorder. She has been using traditional Western medicine for two years or so with marginal improvement.
Would you believe there are actually treatments with a high success rate for her illness but the insurance companies here in the US won’t cover it? (This is true of many diseases actually!) There is a phenomenal medical facility in Mexico that has exactly the treatment that Cindy needs.
It is shocking and downright horrific that an amazing person like Cindy should be denied treatment and a return to full health.
That is why I am asking for your support to raise funds to SEND CINDY TO MEXICO!!! The treatment lasts two weeks or more and costs appeoximately $9500.00. If every one of us that adores Cindy gave just a little, we could have our dear friend back to her healthy self in no time.... I feel a small donation is the least we can all do for a friend and mentor who continually stretches herself thin to ensure all of our successes.
