Cure George
Donation protected
Hello my Name is Tamarra Alvarado, the mother of George Alvarado.
On August 3, 2019, while on a visit home from the U.S. Air Force, George “Nikolas” Alvarado was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Since the diagnosis, George has become a resident at City of Hope in Duarte, CA were he also celebrated his 21st birthday. The Oncologist and staff have taken a very aggressive approach in treatment and as a result, he recently experienced additional medical challenges, which is a severe set-back. George is currently pending a match for a bone marrow transplant. More information can be found at bethematch.org/curegeorge.
I am asking for donations since Ive had to put my job on hold and I am uncertain about when ill be able to return to work. I absolutely have no means to provide for myself or for George. I have always been an independent person and rarely ask for help. Donations would help pay for food, bills, and any other necessities while Im taking care of my son.
A GoFundMe account (https://www.gofundme.com/f/cure-george) has been created while I focus and support George as he fights this battle. A donation of any size or simply sharing this link with your network is greatly appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to answer them.
Thank you for your support!
