For Kate Anderson
To help cover some of the costs as she goes through her breast cancer journey
I’m Elizabeth, Kate is one of my very best friends whom I’ve known since high school. She is 30 years old and married with 3 beautiful and special baby boy’s ages 1 (Hayden), and twin 8 month olds (Landon & Rylan). Kate and her family have been through some very tough things in the past few years with the birth of their twin baby boys 3 months early. Landon was in the NICU for 71 days before coming home and his twin brother Rylan, just recently came home from a 201 day intense NICU stay and is suffering from Hydrocephalus and Potacki-Lupski Syndrome. Somehow throughout all of this, Kate has remained positive and upbeat. She is truly one of the strongest people I know and I admire her every day. Everyone who has the pleasure of meeting Kate instantly loves her, it’s hard not to gravitate towards her kind soul. This family has been through a lot and will continue to fight and persevere no matter what is thrown their way! I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this, share this, or donate and I know Kate and her family are appreciative of everyone who has said a prayer for them, checked in on them, and everyone who has supported them through the tough times they are facing. Here are some words from Kate...
Hi! I’m Kate and I have three cute boys under 2. It’s been a long journey to get my sweet twins home from a long NICU journey. After finally being home I sadly learned that I had developed a lump in my breast which turned out to be breast cancer. On top of the covid-19 I’ve been doing treatments alone which is super scary. Work has been limited for my husband due to the coronavirus and added responsibility at home with the health issues of me and Rylan and has been driving me to and from treatments as well as helping to keep up up with the house during chemo when I’m too sick. Chemo has made me very sick. My first treatment ended me up in the hospital for a few days to due to a kidney infection and stones. We appreciate all prayers and help to our family during this time and we pray that next year is a year full of positivity, love, and calm.
