Cureageous Cups

Cureageous cups is a new charitable project that's mission is to support and spark the positivity of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the University of Kansas Cancer Center. We need your help to provide the approximately 6,500 people diagnosed with cancer next year with support to spark their positivity. To be there at the beginning of their journey, during hard times, to lift them up ,and pair a positive mindset set with treatments. It's clinically proven that having a positive mindset increases results for patient outcomes! Any amount of support would be extremely appreciated and would support our initiative  of surprise boxes that make a world of difference to cancer patients mindset and lives! 

Our goal is to provide Cancer patients at their first chemotherapy, when they are nervous, anxious, and on edge, and just surrounded with negative energy, to combat that with a little surprise box waiting for them in there chemo chair. This surprise would then pivot the focus and create a positive atmosphere as they embark on the biggest journey of their lives. The surprise waiting in the box is a 30oz rambler designed to keep drinks cold or hot and help support the hydration process which is crucial while undergoing chemotherapy treatment . Our motto is
" LIVE LIFE LIKE YOUR CUP, TO THE FULLEST!"

Nicole our founder developed our goal and mission after personally receiving a Yeti cup from a friend after being diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkins lymphoma cancer this September. The cup began to embody hope and a constant reminder to smile and stay positive during her journey.  She wanted to pay it forward and do something to help patients like her stay positive during such hard times like she has been able to do. During her chemotherapy treatment she developed our goal and decided to do a pilot program "Cups for Christmas"  with current patients this December at her treatment facility. 
Cureageous cups was able to give 500 cups away to cancer patients receiving chemotherapy at the University of Kansas Cancer Center starting on December 17th 2018.  The response we received was simply amazing! Patients were overcome with joy and inspired to stay positive.

Nicole is working with the doctors at the  University of Kansas Cancer center to start a research initiative next year with new patients who receive her cup, to see how it impacts patients lives and outcomes.

A donation of $30 dollars provides one cancer patient with a Cureageous cup at our current cost. We hope to soon bring this price down as we order in larger quantities. Please donate what you can, even if it is just a dollar, because a little bit here and there goes a long way!
