"CURED" Indie TV Show Starter

Hello! My name is Verve Reposar and I am the creator, writer and director of "CURED" - a 3-season, 8-episode, half-hour dramedy about zombies in Manhattan who have been cured by a miracle vaccine and now have to live with what they've done.

Our two leading ladies, Toni and Eira, are cured zombies who meet trauma-puking in the bathroom of their therapist's office and it's love at first barf. Suddenly, learning how to live again feels doable when they do it together! Who cares if the world feels like it's slowly burning down around them while the narrative flips, making enraged, human survivors more monstrous than the zombies ever were... maybe together, Toni and Eira can figure out what being "cured" actually means. Of course the story involves a plethora of awkward laughs, tender heartaches, and copious amounts of blood.

We're filming three scenes from the pilot August 24th-26th 2023, with my team of cast and crew who are as much family as we are fellow creators. This will spearhead our next campaign to fund the production of the whole pilot script, which we'll then present to networks like FX and HBO. Sky's the limit! Films we’ve made in the past have all been with micro-zero budgets and go on to win awards and hearts (Go to ververeposarcom for a peak into my world)

Your donation will buy our cast and crew lodging and food during the shoot, professional-grade sound equipment (because sound is SO IMPORTANT), FX make-up, and an editor who can edit off a character's arm in post-production. If we don't get funding, we'll be forced to amputate ;)

Most importantly, your donation will fund a dream that has been in ceaseless development for three years, and help bring to life characters who can hopefully in turn, bring you to life when you watch them figure out what it means to love, live, forgive, AND NOT EAT PEOPLE. All the puns intended.
