Curly Leaf Pondweed needs to be stopped

The Turtle Flambeau Flowage, the best fishing in all of Wisconsin, is in danger of being overtaken by an Invasive species called Curly Leaf Pondweed. This invasive species stops oxygen production in the water resulting in a total fish kill for this lake & every lake downstream. This is not just a local problem! Allowed to go unchecked, Curly Leaf Pondweed will change the environment of the Turtle River Watershed from Wisconsin’s Northwoods to the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, then on to the Mississippi River and beyond.
