Currier Kids & Family
Donation protected
On Monday, December 10 the Currier Families lives were forever changed. When Leah and Zach got home from school their Grandma Esta Currier was waiting for them at the bus stop to pick them up. After the bus left a neighbors 4 Rottweilers attacked all three of them. Grandma Currier fought hard to save her grandkids and ultimately lost her life while saving her Grandkids Leah and Zack. Grandma Currier died a hero.
Leah (9) and Zach (7) were life flighted to the hospital where they both underwent emergency surgeries to save their lives. Both children have been in PICU receiving treatment for their injuries. Zach had lacerations to his head, ears, neck, arms, and legs. Leah's injuries were much worse with lacerations to her head, ears, hair loss, neck, arms, hands, legs, and feet. She's had 5 surgeries just in a couple of days with one of them to amputate her leg from below her knee. She will continue to have surgeries every other day to clean out infection till its all healed. Leah and Zach have been through so much mentally and physically which they have only just begun the healing process.
Robert and Aliceson (dad & mom) have been by their side in the hospital since this tragic event only leaving to be with family to bury Robert's mother Grandma Currier. Both parents are missing work and time with their other 3 kids.
We have set up this page to help the Currier family with many different needs such as loss of parents wages, Leah's & Zach medical bills and treatments, and changes that will have to be made to their home to eventually bring both kids home. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by this family.
