Curt & Colleen Mayer Motorcycle Accident Fund

Donation protected
On Friday morning, July 12th, 2019 Curt Mayer was on his motorcycle heading to work when he was tragically stuck by a drunk driver around 5:15 in the morning.

His wife Colleen who has been a long time resident of Canyon Lake and owner a local business Loveable Pet Styling was notified by his co-worker that Curt never showed up to their normal meeting spot to ride their bikes into work. Colleen tried reaching out to Curt and couldn't get a hold of him so she contacted 911 and was notified of an accident on Scott Road. She raced to the scene of the accident to find Curt's bike laying there mangled, which she then found out Curt was rushed to a local trauma center. He was taken into emergency surgery in order to stabilize him and his entire crushed leg.

At this time, Curt is stable but is going to need several surgeries, rehabilitation and physical therapy that will take a year or more to recover from.  These challenges will also come with significant financial burdens which one cannot endure alone. Colleen will need to be by his side every step of the way. This will be very stressful for the family losing both incomes until further notice.

We are asking for your help in any way you can to alleviate the financial burden they are being faced with.

Thank you everyone for your outpouring support and well wishes to Curt. Colleen could not get through this without all of you!
