Curt and Cher Jacobsen

On Thursday, June 4, Curt and Cher Jacobsen were in a traumatic motorcycle accident. They were immediately transported by EMS to Regions Trauma unit in St Paul, MN. Curt was rushed to surgery with a spinal cord injury which he underwent an extensive back surgery involving L1 spinal cord damage. The damage has left limited sensation in his left leg and both legs weak.
Cher sustained multiple fractures and has gone through a total of 4 surgeries. This included spine surgery and 2 complex foot/ankle surgeries leaving her non-weightbearing for 8 weeks. She also suffered a small heart attack during one of her surgeries.
Both have had some medical complications with this incident but are now currently stable.
Curt and Cher are both working hard at Sacred Heart Hospital rehab unit with intensive therapies, medical and pain management, and striving to re-gain their independence.
Your support in aiding Curt and Cher with piling medical bills and modifying their home to continue their recovery is greatly appreciated.
