Curtis L. Godette - Support for Funeral Expenses.

After experiencing one of the most challenging days of our lives, my family and I held a funeral to honor my father, Curtis L. Godette, who unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack. So many of his family and friends attended to celebrate the man they have known for years or even a few short months. Each person's account of meeting Curtis was the same…Curtis was an immediate magnet to anyone, and he never met a person who didn't automatically become friends. He left a deep impression on earth amongst his family and friends—always ready to prank someone, lend a listening ear, or deliver hearty laughter.

My dad fought a good fight and is now resting in peace. Now, the reality of his untimely death has shifted to the family being responsible for the funeral expenses. As a retired Army veteran with significant health challenges, my father did not have life insurance because he was considered high-risk and was denied coverage.
