Curtis Seabolt's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
We are setting up this "GoFundMe" to assist in the medical bills for Curtis. Mid-August he had to have open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve to due to a birth defect. That surgery was a success and he had made a near 100% recovery.
On Thursday Dec 19 his fiancé Morgan took him into the ER due to flu like symptoms that she felt was beyond just the flu. The ER in Mason city was able to diagnose Curtis had infective endocarditis. Curtis' heart was being attacked with an infection. He was life flighted to University of Iowa Hospital since Mason City's wasn't equipped to handle the diagnosis. University of Minnesota was unable to accept him due to the capacity of the hospital. Christmas eve Curtis suffered a stroke.
As of now 12/28/19 Curtis is at UI in the Cardiovascular ICU being treated and in stable condition. The family made a well informed decision and is in the process of making arrangements to move Curtis to University of Minnesota to be back under the care of his initial surgeon whom both Curtis and Morgan have a relationship with.
We ultimately trust that our Heavenly Father is the great physician and believe He gives doctors wisdom and knowledge to treat. We serve a miracle working God! Thank you for your prayer and support.
