Curtis' Story

Hi, my name is Nancy Madison; I am starting this Go Fund Me page for my dear friends, Lisa and Curtis Brierly. Recently Curtis has had an unexpected illness of MRSA that started in his foot from unknown causes, and has since traveled into his back, spinal cord and now spinal fluid, possibly affecting his brain. He has been recently hospitalized many times within the past few months. He was the primary source of income for the family. He has been readmitted again today for more testing and medications. The treatments, hospitalizations, and trips to Little Rock have financially strained the family. Lisa cannot work outside of the home due to her medical issues. Curt cannot do any of his own care and must be closely monitored, and with altered mental status, he cannot be left alone, which prevents Lisa from outside work. I am asking any of you who know them to please send what you can to help recover some of their losses and help with future medical bills, cost of living expenses, and travel expenses to and from the hospital. His diagnosis is looking to be a long-term issue taking six months to a year for recovery.
