In Loving Memory of Curtis Flynn

My name is Noelle and my sister Kate and I created this page in memorial to our dear Uncle Curtis.
Curt passed away following a massive, unexpected heart attack and the sudden loss has been unimaginable for us all. He lived in Florida with his loving wife and teenage son, also leaving behind a large extended family and friends from around the country. He owned and operated his own business, a NY-style pizza and pasta shop, that served some of the best Italian food in the area and brought the community together.
We are hoping to raise some money for our Aunt Carol and her son, John, to help them with this tragic loss. Along with large hospital bills, emergency services, and funeral costs, Carol is also dealing with costs from having to quit her job in order to help keep Curt's business afloat. Absolutely anything you can give is appreciated and would mean the world to them.Curt grew up in Bay Shore, NY, spending all of his summers living and working at his father's restaurant on Fire Island. He was the type of man who would strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like they've known him for years. Kind, generous, thoughtful, and selfless, Curt was a fierce, fierce friend and familyman who would do everything for others. Now it is our time to do something for him.
Each time we visited he made sure we all kissed and hugged one another goodnight, reminding us to live each day with love and laughter. Speaking of laughter, Curt was the funniest man you ever met. He made your sides ache and tears stream down your face from the constant belly laughs, giggles, and jokes. Curt always saw the humor in life, even in the darkest of times, and knew that laughter is the best way to bring people together. How do you sum up such a wonderful man as our Uncle Curt... all we can say is that he was the light of everyone's life. He was a shining example of love in action, and the best husband, father, brother, uncle, and son a family could have. He survived cancer, diabetes, and other medical hurdles only to be taken from us so young, but we will never forget the memories we shared. Heaven must have needed a comedian up there and we know Curt has all the angels in stitches. We miss you, we love you, and we will continue your legacy of light and joy. Always hug and kiss one another goodnight, and remember that there's nothing a good laugh can't fix. Rest easy, Curt.
