Cut Seven Appreciates Garrison

Tax deductible
Cut Seven is organizing this fundraiser to show our gratitude and support to Garrison's families in need.  Garrison Elementary has been so gracious, allowing us to hold all of our classes on their field while our studio is closed during this pandemic.

As a Title I school, more than half of the students are from low-income families and nearly 25 percent have special needs. DCPS is still providing a meal each day to the students, but for some of the families, that simply isn’t enough. For many, picking up school meals simply isn’t feasible, and it doesn’t address the many other ways their lives have been disrupted by this pandemic.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 - Cut Seven will match the first $5k in contribution, to maximize the impact of your donation. Donations are 100% tax deductible.

------

Garrison is a diverse neighborhood public school serving the Logan Circle, U Street, and Shaw neighborhoods of Washington, DC.

They have distributed almost 100 laptops and hotspots to ensure each child can connect to their virtual learning at home.  In addition, they have distributed almost $5000 in grocery gift cards to ensure our families have enough to eat.  But it is not yet enough.  Some of their families have lost jobs, and others have lost loved ones to the pandemic.

With your contribution, you will provide direct relief to Garrison families in need who struggle to put food on the table and meet other basic needs.

Thank you so much for considering and helping us share our gratitude while our place of operations is shut down.
