Cutting my Dreadlocks for Mental Health Support

Donation protected

It's been 23 years of having  dreadlocks and I feel it's time for them to go.
The chop is going to happen on June 05, 2020.
I am doing this in the spirit of raising funds to contribute to a worthwhile cause.

I am raising money for mental health support for young people in Dundee, with the proceeds going to Feeling Strong, feeling strong.co.uk. Feeling Strong support young people in Dundee who have mental health or wellbeing challenges.
Currently in response to the covid19 lockdown they are providing food & care packages to anyone who needs them and are maintaining video and text chat services to young people who are needing support during this challenging time,  covid.feelingstrong.co.uk
The money I raise from this hair chop will go to help Feeling Strong fund their services.

During this crisis there are many people out there who are feeling isolated, and perhaps living in situations that are detrimental to their wellbeing. It is crucial that these young people have someone to reach out to and to he heard.  Beyond this there will be many young people who will need extra support, engagement with others, and guidance for the days ahead.

The money raised will go to Feeling Strong, the only expense I will take is for a decent haircut after the chop when the hairdressers are open again!
