CVD Cares- 24 hours on the street fundraiser

My name is Carson Grant, I am the General Manager for Comox Valley Dodge!

 

We will be raising money by donation for our 24 hours on the streets October 9th where myself and some of my team from Comox Valley Dodge will be on the street giving out water, coffee, food, toques, socks and warm clothing to our already rapid homeless situation we are currently dealing with here in the Comox Valley …… We will be located at our new location's (Old Canadian Tire) parking lot from 8am Saturday October 9th to 8am Sunday October 10th.

 

We will be staying out all night until morning making sure we are walking the walk and not only talking about it.

 

For every dollar we raise Comox Valley Dodge will match and donate back to the Sunday Station Society and Comox Valley Street Outreach !

 

The Sunday Station Society provides those in need with food, clothing and necessities every other Sunday at the Old Train Station. They have been in operation for almost 2 years and help hundreds of individuals per month!

 

The Comox Valley Street Outreach provides peer outreach, advocacy, harm reduction, community clean up, biohazard disposal, on spot naloxone training, witnesses consumption, medical advice and continued follow ups. They are out helping clean up our community on a daily basis and help hundreds of people per month!

 

Our goal here is to continue to give back to the community and making it a better place to live for all of us!
