Friday, May 19, the Yoder family had a morning they are still wishing was just a dream. Brittany and Zac got the call while at work that their home in Granville had caught fire while their 8 month old daughter and Brittany’s mother were home - thankfully their 7 year old son Easton was at school. Everyone made it out safely but their home has severe smoke and water damage which insurance says could displace them for 2 months or more.
Brit, Zac, Easton and Brayleigh are now forced to live in a hotel until everything in their house is stripped and rebuilt. This includes all of their clothes and belongings that will need to be professionally cleaned once they are able to be retrieved. Brit and Zac always put their children first and have gotten some donations of clothes for the children, but like most great parents - they don’t want to ask for themselves as long as their kids are taken care of. Their sizes will be at the end of the post BUT we ask not to overwhelm with clothing since they only have one hotel room to fit everything in and not all donated may fit. They’re going to need help with day to day costs such as food (since they don’t have a kitchen in their hotel) and other necessities.
We ask that you message Whittni Harvey for any questions for things that are potentially needed or ways to help so that the family doesn’t get overwhelmed with questions while they’re already stressing about their new adjustment for day to day.
Brittany wears Woman’s 6/27 pants (roughly) - Medium shirts Zac wears men’s 32x34 - Large shirts *Preferably no holes in the pants for Brit and Zac so they are able to wear to work when able to go back* Both kids are fairly set on clothing at the moment but: Easton wears 8/10 Brayleigh wears anywhere from 9 months to 18 month clothing
