Hello! Cville Craft Aid (CCA) is a volunteer-run group that serves to identify humans in need in Central Virginia and then direct our handcrafted products to these groups to provide support. Our group began organically in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.  In the last two weeks, we have provided over 800 surgical masks, scrub caps, surgical gowns, and face shields to local medical providers and other vulnerable populations in our area. Thus far, all of our items have been made with materials that have been donated from our members themselves or gifted from our community. However, as the requests coming in are growing steadily, our supply reserves have been dwindling and it has become necessary for us to begin buying materials from national providers. We are asking for donations from the community for the following:

-To be able to purchase and distribute to our members elastic, fabric, vinyl for face shields, and other materials to make requested masks, surgical gowns, scrub caps, and face shields. 

-To reimburse those members who have already purchased large amounts of raw materials for handcrafted items and can provide us with their receipts.

-To eventually be able to support members that are sewing for CCA full-time and do not currently have any other income source through an application process.
