Stock the pond

This fundraiser is to stock the Calhoun County Park ponds with approximately 500 pounds of trout to create fishing opportunities for our youth and community. 100% of proceeds will be used to stock the bottom pond by rt. 16, the middle pond in field on left, and the small pond by the barn.

A youth day or weekend will open the fishing, followed by general usage in accordance with WVDNR rules and regulations.

This will be the first trout stocking since around 2014. Calhoun County is one of the few counties not stocked with trout by the state, so this is a great opportunity to provide recreational activity.
