Helene's Cancer Recovery Fund

We want to tell you about our friend Helene.  She is a vibrant and passionate mother, friend, sister, and giver of self.  She is an accomplished Speech-Language Pathologist, who has devoted her career to helping children and people with disabilities.  She has been a tireless and relentless worker for individuals with special needs and their families. She did this at times when it was not always easy for her to do so and has often made sacrifices for others.

Helene was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer and since starting chemo and radiation has been  unable to work.  She has a long, arduous battle ahead of her.  As everyone knows, under the best of circumstances, mounting medical and monthly bills are extremely difficult to meet. Helene has been a strong warrior for others in their time of need...Time for us to step up and be a village!

Due to mounting medical needs, funds have been depleted much sooner than expected, and until an income source can be established, any small donation would make a huge difference in helping her fight this fight. Even the greatest warriors need soldiers behind them. Let's take our small village and make it a huge army and help her win this battle against cancer. Let's band together and help our most gracious and thankful friend in need.
