Craigavon Area Food Bank

Friends and family of PLC Karate and MindStyle Living are washing off the old year with a refreshing New Year's Eve plunge in Lough Neagh to help raise some funds for Craigavon Area Food Bank.

Food banks in the Trussell Trust network in Northern Ireland distributed over 39,000 (39,344) emergency food parcels between 1 April to 30 September 2023. This is the most parcels that the network in Northern Ireland has ever distributed at this point in the year and represents a 23% increase from the same period in 2022.

It is a terrible shame that so many people in this day and age are going hungry. Even worse is that many of these food parcels are going to children!
