Tracy’s Fight

Pause for one moment,

Have you ever considered just how small we are to the World. But, also that you mean the entire World to someone? Have you ever imagined your life without its strongest & longest bond? I have, and it’s debilitating.

A bit of history: 11/24/1992-  just 2 days before turning 13, my big sister Tracy was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the Humerus bone, the unimaginable hit our family like a ton of bricks, with no warning; no remorse. Her entire life changed in a flash… All of our lives did.

After countless surgeries, Chemo treatment's,  feeding tubes, all of the bad; she experienced it…The never ending sleepless nights our mom endured while doing her absolute best to be present for me while also advocating & caring for Tracy, God showed us Mercy. With all of my sister’s strength, the great doctors at Moffitt Cancer Center, her unforgettable support system of family & friends, endless prayers from everywhere & everyone; she beat it & was declared cured 5 years later!

Tracy came home when many didn’t, we got to witness her healing and we were so grateful! I had my sister back, my mom had her first born home & healed, Life was good again. She grew up, has worked hard her entire life & raised three amazing kids who love & respect her more than words can express & as for us, we’ve only gotten closer with age. A great sister really is your first best friend in life.

All seemed well until late 2023 when Tracy began experiencing really painful & debilitating attacks that would leave her curled up where ever she stood, after a couple of ER visits with no resolve, PLENTY of dismissive & assumptive medical providers, she obtained a second opinion by a specialist and on March 6th 2024 that same ton of bricks hit us head on once again, Tracy was diagnosed with colonic adenocarcinoma (colon cancer) and the need for immediate medical intervention was made abundantly clear. The monster returned.

Tracy has worked and will continue working even when she physically cannot tolerate the pain, especially now due to all of these unexpected and outrageously expensive medical tests & treatments.
she pushes herself harder than anyone I’ve ever known and although admirable, she shouldn’t be doing so much of that right now. I know we have an amazing community and we are full of Hope, Support & Faith. I have established this fundraiser in hopes we can ease some of the financial burdens that lie ahead. We understand times are hard for many of us, and if you’re unable to donate financially, we completely understand however we do ask that you please keep Tracy and our family in your prayers and share our plea so she can focus all of her energy on fighting & surviving this for a second time.

Thank you for taking the time to read/donate/pray & share; my family appreciates it all. ❤️
