We need help for my mother.

Hi guys. Today I am writing about my mom, Elizabeth Marquez-she is 46 years old with 4 children. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer 3 years ago, she underwent a mastectomy, had chemo and radiation, she was told the breast cancer was cured. August 2019 she started having severe headaches, loss of balance, trouble writing and vision issues, as well as being exhausted all day and not able to get out of bed, all the while taking care of an 11 and 15 year old. This continued for 3 months, around Thanksgiving 2019 the headache was so severe she went to the ER, an MRI revealed the cancer had spread to her brain. Fortunately, this was operable, she underwent surgery in December 2020 and had the cancer removed, she then had radiation. She now has an MRI every 3 months and will continue that for the rest of her life. The first MRI after the December 2019 brain surgery revealed a cyst, she underwent a second brain surgery in April 2020 to drain the cyst.  Her most recent MRI in September 2020 revealed 3 new spots of cancer in her brain and 2 spots in her spinal column, she is seeing double out of 1 eye and needs to wear a bandage over it, loss of memory and damage to her nervous system, as well as dizziness and balance issues. This time surgery is not an option, the spots are in delicate places. She needs proton radiation and they will not perform it in Massachusetts at Dana Farber. Her only option is to undergo a trial @ Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan New York. Her radiation oncologists @ Brigham and Women’s states she will be there for about 2 weeks. She has a virtual visit with them on Wednesday September 30 for more details. Obviously, insurance does not cover her hotel, food, gas and other expenses for the trip to New York. My mom has a big heart and would do anything for anyone, she has a great sense of humor and has kept that through her whole journey. She has a great attitude and will to live, she has 2 young children Jennaliz 12 and Hector 14., as well as Kenny 28 and me 20. My mom is a fighter just like her mom who we lost to cancer 2 years ago. My mom needs this treatment to live and we would like to raise some money to help her pay for the trip to New York, anything you can give will help and will be so appreciated.
