Help ReStart our ReStore CWHabitat

Our Appeal: Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity is looking for assistance to ReStart its ReStore. Two years ago we lost the lease to our ReStore and we needed to liquidate everything (except for the Box Truck, because we knew we'd eventually need it again!). The ReStore, a Habitat for Humanity franchise, was the economic engine that funded our mission and vision.

Our Mission: Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus by assisting qualified families with decent, affordable housing in our service area. We put God's Love into action by mobilizing community resources and people for the common goal of building homes, hope and lives.

It's urgent that we once again start that important financial engine and you are the key!

Why we do what we do:  "Hi my mom was telling me about this organization. I'm a single mom and I live in low income housing. I've been on the waiting list for section 8 for 5 years and it still says I have 6 months to a year left to wait. I'm surrounded by drug addicts in (deleted)   apartments and I need to get out of here. I can't afford much I work at (deleted) 30 hours a week and I get no child support. I'm praying you can help me somehow.  Thank you in advance! "
