Fight Like Frankie

December 7th my 7 year old grandson Frankie LaSasso ran 60 yards with his dad and grandfather on the field couching, 3 generations of Frank LaSasso's. He earned the game ball. We were all in the bleachers and overwhelmed with pride. Only to come back a couple of weeks later to watch the last game of the season and he ran 40 yards for a touchdown. He loves sports!

11:30 PM December 7th we woke up to the call from my daughter Tiffany who I can barley hear though the phone telling us she and her husband Frank were at the hospital and that Frankie was diagnosed with T. Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
To say we were in shock is an understatement. Frankie spent the week at Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia with his mom and dad at his side every second. There were lots of test and many doctors but Frankie stood strong #Frankiestrong.
The family and community that surrounds them is heartwarming and not what you see everyday. The football friends and the Hammonton - Ocean City Communities have been very supportive and loving to the sweet little family. When friends from OCHS football team made tee shirts in support of the family people responded without hesitation
We are all taking this one minute, one hour and one day at time. The road ahead is not known. We have faith that they are strong enough to make it through. The expense now and for the future is unknown. We started this go fund me at the advice of our friends who wanted to do more and suggested this as the best path forward.
Any support you can provide to Frankies sweet family is humbly appreciated. They are very private people and deserve all the love and support.
